Dear Friend and Colleague, Put yourself in this picture. It’s 2:55 p.m. and you are rushing to make the faculty meeting running toward the auditorium you collide with Mr. Streight, Jimmy’s dad. He glares at you and says, “Jimmy got an F in Science and it’s your entire fault.” You are at a loss he has totally taken you by surprise. You think back to the first week of school. Jimmy has been missing assignments since then. This has to be the 50th time that Mr. Streight comes to his defense. How many times have you met, six, maybe seven? School has only been in session for twelve weeks. But there is more . . . Just yesterday Jimmy was caught stealing. You open your mouth to speak and Mr. Streight cuts you off. You are getting frustrated and your stress level is at its all time high. Suddenly, you are at a loss for words.Your head begins to pound, and you can feel your blood pressure rising.
